On September 6th, the 2nd Jüchen City Run (main sponsor Praxis Frijters) took place, organized by the DreamBig event team with a hygiene concept in accordance with Corona guidelines. Joleen Hendricksen and Stefan Brüggemann were among the DJK athletes, with Joleen achieving an impressive second place among women in the 5 km race and Stefan finishing fifth among men in the 10 km race. On September 10, 2023, students, teachers, and relatives participated in various distances, including the Kids Active Run, 1 km, 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km. It was a lovely and sociable day, despite the challenges posed by the weather.
Highlights
- Joleen Hendricksen achieved a fantastic second place in the women's 5 km, finishing with a time of 22:10 minutes.
- Stefan Brüggemann finished in 5th place overall in the men's 10 km with a time of 40:37 minutes.
